KRS16 Race Participant Waiver and Release of Liability

Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the KRS16 race event ("Event"), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. I understand that motorsports and racing activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to property damage, serious bodily injury, permanent disability, and death.
2. I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the Event and have no medical condition that would make participation unsafe.
3. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation, whether known or unknown, including risks arising from weather, track conditions, equipment failure, the actions of other participants, spectators, or event personnel.
4. I release, waive, and discharge the event organizers, KRS16, track owners, sponsors, volunteers, officials, employees, agents, and affiliated organizations from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, or causes of action arising from or related to my participation in the Event, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. I agree to follow all event rules, safety requirements, and instructions from race officials. I understand that failure to do so may result in my removal from the Event without refund.
6. I grant permission for photographs, video, or other media taken during the Event to be used for promotional or educational purposes without compensation.
7. I understand that this waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by applicable law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Acknowledgment

 I have carefully read this waiver, fully understand its contents, and sign it voluntarily. I understand that by signing this document I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to sue.
